Science and History

Research the different types of oil lamps that have been used throughout history.

Research how oil lamps work.

How is linen made?  Link about Linen here

Gold.  How it formed?  What has it been used for?  Why is it valuable?  How is it mined?  History could be learning about the gold rush.

Acacia wood.  Where does it grow?  What are it’s uses?

Has there been a significance to these colors in history? gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns

Pick out some stones that interest you and research them.

A row of sardius, [2] topaz, and carbuncle shall be the first row; 18 and the second row an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond; 19 and the third row a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; 20 and the fourth row a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper.

  2. A friend posted this site on FB and I was thrilled to see what it was. I have been looking for year for a site that may interest my 8 y/o son. Most Torah teachings were either too immature or too hard for him. Of course there are a lot of Christian teachings online, but nothing about the Torah and I am pleased and bless to find such a site. Bless you for putting this up and sharing..:)
