Take this opportunity to make sure your children, particularly older ones, have a working knowledge of real estate, personal ownership, and property rights.
Do your children know about hunting. Butchering livestock is an important skill to have. Even younger children can take part. Our 5,7, and 8 year olds grind the meat for us. Other jobs that would be suitable for younger helpers are weighing the meat, wrapping, labeling, and helping cook the bones into broth.
